Titan’s President & Co-Founder Reaches Mt. Everest Base Camp

Our President & Co-Founder, Jerry Hawkins, recently completed one of his “bucket list” items when he trekked 40 miles in the Himalayas to reach Mt. Everest base camp at an altitude of almost 18,000 ft. Starting his journey in Kathmandu Nepal, the hike lasted 10 days and included stops in several Sherpa towns along the way.

Jerry says “some of the many memorable moments included learning the Nepali culture, visiting the Buddhist stupas/monasteries, walking across the suspension bridges, dodging yaks on the trail, and eating Dal Bhat. It was an adventure of a lifetime.”
