Southington Approves Energy Contract With TitanGen, Bloom Energy

The Southington Town Council unanimously approved an energy contract that is estimated to save the city $2 million in electricity costs over the next 15 years. The contract, procured through TitanGen, a division of Titan Energy, will allow Bloom Energy to install a fuel cell and generate electricity at the town’s wastewater treatment plant, which will then be sold to the town at a discounted rate.
