A new plan aimed at adding electric vehicle charging stations and increasing the adoption of clean emissions vehicles throughout the country was announced last month by Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY). The goal of the “Clean Cars for America Initiative” is that by 2040 all vehicles on the road will be clean, he said.
